An attractive antique map of the north east of England, centred on Durham, by William Kip after C Saxton, which appeared in William Camden's Britannia. This example is from the 1637 edition, which had the plate number 51 added to the bottom left of the map.
It spans from Newcastle in the north to Darlyngton in the south. Mounted. Ready to frame.
