An antique lithograph, with very fine hand colour, of the British wild flower Common Comfrey (symphytum officinale).
From the series of books "Wild Flowers of Great Britain" by Robert Hogg and George Johnson, the plate was drawn and engraved by WG Smith, and published circa 1860's.
