Fine, early map of Great Britain by Nicolaes Visscher II, dedicated to William IIIrd, King of England, Scotland and Ireland.... (William and Mary). Visscher II was the son of a previous mapmaker and engraver of the same name. He was also a Dutch engraver, cartographer and publisher who spent his working life in Amsterdam. Published by Visscher II, circa 1690. Copper engraving with later hand colouring. 5 scales of miles in the bottom left hand corner. Vintage frame.
