An antique, hand coloured map of Lincolnshire, with heraldic shields, an illustrations of Grimsthorpe Castle and Lincoln Cathedral, published circa 1848. Thomas Moule (1784 – 1851) was a writer on heraldry and a map maker. He is best known for his popular and highly decorated county maps of England, steel engraved, and first published separately between 1830 and 1832. This map published circa 1848.
