Napoleon is depicted on a chamber pot on the Island of Elba. A devil is offering a revolver to Napoleon tempting him to suicide. An emaciated eagle (imperial crow) is above his head. Napoleon had signed the abdication papers in April, and it is said that his mamelouk Roustam offered him an honourable way out.
