Two prints of flowers, Anglo-Chinese school, circa 1850 - 1880.
These charming artworks were painted using plant or mineral pigments, mixed with ground white sea shells, usually on unsized rice paper, to give a soft, velvety effect. Rice paper is extremely brittle, thus imperfections do occur.
Priced for two prints.
All as seen.
