An antique map of Sussex, by renowned 17th century map maker Robert Morden.
Published in William Camden's "Britannia" in 1695, this is the edition of 1722, with the horse watermark in the paper, copper engraved and hand coloured.
There are three scales of miles - great, middle and small. The map is divided into six Rapes: Chichester, Arundel, Bramber, Lewes, Pevensey and Hastings.
